Ron

Author Ron Mattocks is a freelance writer and social media consultant. He has five kids. He works from home. They all have issues, and therefore, he blogs. In his wilder days he rappelled off of college football stadiums; got into a brawl in front of  George W. Bush; and dated a famous South Korean actress. At one point in time, he was once an Army Captain and then a VP of Sales and Marketing before becoming a stay-at-home dad. In 2007, Ron started the blog, Clark Kent’s Lunchbox because it sounded like a good idea, and since then, the site’s earned some attention. Later he published the book, Sugar Milk: What One Dad Drinks When He Can’t Afford Vodka which recounts some of the antics associated with his reluctant transition from the corporate world to the full-time parenting gig. Ron’s a regular contributor to other publications like Houston Family Magazine, The Good Men Project, and Man of the House, and has even been known to speak at a conference or two. In case you’d like to follow him on Twitter, his handle is @CK_Lunchbox, or you can just check all of his contact information at  his Google profile. Ron lives in Houston, Texas with his wonderful wife @schadenfreudett who takes great pleasure in mocking his love of Coldplay. To escape, he sneaks off to the comic book store whenever possible.

JC

JC Little is a mom & director who engages with your funny bone. She blogs a slice of real life with animation and drawings as The Animated Woman and tweets as @LittleAnimation. Also? She loves people.

Bossy

Bossy, known elsewhere as Georgia Getz, has been blogging since 1966. She struggled with the technology for the first few decades, but that resolved when they invented the Internet. Her humor blog, i am bossy, is currently sweeping the continent. When it’s finished, it will dust the lampshades.

Cecily

Cecily Kellogg is a writer. She also deeply loves using the worst possible language, she’s unapologetically fat, a feminist, a former drunk and junkie with nearly fifteen years sober, a wife, and a mother of the most beautiful four year old girl in the world. She’s also very liberal (there are drag queens more politically conservative). She’s also famous in the most obscure way she could find: as @CecilyK on Twitter. She blogs in excessive detail about her life at her memoir blog, Uppercase Woman. She can also be found blogging about her life as a blogger (no, really) at CecilyK.com.

Wendy

Wendy Henderson is an English mum living in the middle of lots of rice fields in Northern Spain, she forgets how she got there but that’s probably because she’s heavily pregnant with/just given birth to her second child. She’d love to have a day job but her Spanish isn’t up to much more than grocery shopping, so she wastes her time on Twitter as @vbincatalunya and occasionally writes blog posts at Very Bored in Catalunya about being English and living in a rice field. She can often be found bemoaning the lack the British cheese and of course, the weather. In her spare time she speed eats Peanut M&M’s and samples the local wine.

Sarah

Sarah (aka Goon Squad Sarah) spends a lot of time in front of the computer. You can tell because she writes at Sarah and the Goon Squad, Draft Day Suit, That’s Right. You Heard Me, Insert Eyeroll, BlogHer and here. Sarah loves football, beer, singing, sleeping late and Doritos. She lives near Washington D.C. with her husband and boy/girl twins. When she grows up she wants to be Bon Jovi.

Shari

Shari Simpson is the co-author of the comedy “Maybe Baby, It’s You” (Dramatic Publishing, Inc.) and the evil semi-genius behind the blog “Earth Mother just means I’m dusty”. In her more lucid moments, she is also the editor of the parenting website, New Jersey Mommy Poppins and has written for CBS Local. She lives in Hoboken, NJ with her husband and four children (two human, two pug), where she cooks a lot, knits legwarmers that her daughter refuses to wear, and kisses her skillet-faced dogs on the mouth.
