Talk to Me, Baby

Well, you don’t actually have to talk to me but if you have one of those voices that makes my nethers all woooooshy, I really wish you would.

No, not YOU, gentle reader. I’m sure your voice is perfectly lovely, HOWEVER, I was talking to those guys that, despite what they may look like, have a voice that makes me swoon.

Surely you know that of which I speak. You see him/her on TV every week, or perhaps you own DVD’s of all his/her movies. He/she has a voice you want to GET WITH because, well, it’s that sexy…

For me, the list is long—I have many aural fixations.

Here’s the abridged version (in no particular order):

Mark Wahlberg (whispering in my ear and wearing nothing but his Calvin Klein tighty whities? EVEN BETTER)
John Malkovich
Dave Gahan (singer from Depeche Mode. I’ll be his personal Jesus any old time)
Gale Howard (from Queer as Folk and Desperate Housewives)
Mickey Rourke (think more 9 1/2 Weeks, less The Wrestler)
Rupert Everett (Yes, I know he’s gay)
Jonathan Rhys Meyers (anything coming out of those lips would sound good)
Don Johnson (SHUT UP. He wasn’t always Nash Bridges, you know)
Alan Rickman
Tim Riggins (Okay, so he’s a character on Friday Night Lights—WHATEVER! His faux Texas drawl gets me every time)
