They let me pretend to be in charge around here as the Lead Editor.. I have always felt a mission to prove that better isn’t always….er….better. Sometimes it’s just good enough and that totally rocks! Slackers UNITE!…later…maybe after a snack…and GLEE…and a nap. The imperfect me then had two strokes, got a wheelchair and learned the art of handicapped parking! I have a husband, three kids, a dog, a cat and a frog…they’re all just lucky I’ve kept them all alive THIS long, yo. You can find me at my About.Me or waxing poetic about bacon on Twitter.

Welcome to Miss Unlimited

Miss Unlimited is geared towards the young women of the world. We know that you, as an influence in her life, have a very big responsibility—whether you want it or not. We always strive to be non-gender and non-age specific with Aiming Low. That is obviously not the case here. We want it to be…

How To Save Asia

Pedicures = relaxing. People making incredibly stupid statements = not relaxing. I’m sitting at the end of my manicure when a woman next to me decides to strike up a conversation. Something about the wheelchair says “Talk to me! I’m trapped here so I’ll smile and nod!” To be terribly stereotypical and completely racist about…

We Partied Like Rock Stars at @Blogher11 (but without the drugs and strippers)

There are those that might tell you: THERE IS NO SECRET TO AIMING LOW. They are wrong. Wrong as wrong can be. Wrong as donkey love. Aiming Low isn’t about being a total slacker…though you can be. Aiming Low isn’t about being less than magnificent at whatever your goal is….although chances are you have been…

If You Can’t Keep One Foot In Front Of Technology, You Can At Least Trip That B*tch

There’s a chance you’re reading this post on cutting edge technology. But, the better chance is that your technology was cutting edge when I wrote this post and already out of date by the time we published it. BETTER THAN THAT is the chance that the last time your computer was considered top-of-the-line was around…

There Is No Spoon….Or Fork….Or Windows XP

I’m supposed to let Robin and Britt do all the funny videos and photos, but sometimes I see something that is worth risking my friendship.

Next Year I Vote We Award Them With Nutella and Chicklets

It’s either summer break or end-of-the-year program time for most parents. I attended the award ceremony for my daughters with a mixture of I’m-so-proud-that’s-my-kid and OMG-the-horror-of-this-many-PTA-parents-in-one-place. The kids had worked hard. The parents were proud. The teachers were near comatose with relief. As joyful *cough* as this experience was, it brought up a few points.
