First, a disclaimer: I’d never recommend that you lean over the tub with a cell phone like the woman in the above photo. Second, if you look that rested anytime of the day or night AND you’re in the tub, I want to point out that this is Aiming Low. You know that, right?
That said, the bubble bath mixture I’m about to share with you will at least make you feel this rested because it costs about .75 cents to fill a spaghetti jar. You’ll only need five things:

I’m a work-at-home-mom and artist and every day my three-year-old daughter, Ruby, watches me paint. And every day she asks me repeatedly, “Whatchoo doing, Mommy? Whatchoo painting, Mommy?” She is endlessly curious and at the age where she just wants to get her hands on everything. So, I happily oblige. A few years ago I toyed with making my own laundry detergent, but after extensive research I concluded it probably wasn’t worth it for me. I read that clothes might look dingy, that the homemade version didn’t rinse out all the way, and that grating the soap was time-consuming. I admit I was bummed, as I really wanted to try my hand at it, but I finally put it out of my mind.
Then, a few weeks ago, I was on Instagram and my friend Katy shared a bar of castile soap that she bought to make laundry soap. What excited me most about the soap was that it was in powder form and that it wasn’t scented with essential oils. Oil and laundry don’t seem to really go hand in hand in my book.
