We do a lot of joking and laughing, in public and behind the scenes.
We show off our mature senses of humor, like giggling kids at fart jokes.
But we also support each other in times of need.
Then we all watch as disaster strikes much too close.
This week my children slept when devastation went by, just a few miles from our house in Newnan, GA.
But I whispered a prayer of safety for the friends I had in Birmingham and surrounding areas.
We were lucky that when all the dirt settled. All the damage was done. Nothing but cleanup left, Kim Trimble was alive and storm damage was the worst she could report.
Now that the storm is over and most switch to a different show on TV, how easy it would it be to forget about those people who lost their homes. Their livelihoods. Their loved one.
Help us NOT FORGET!

Thank you so much Anissa! Words can’t express how Alabama has been affected by these storms. Pictures can’t explain how much devastation our state has. But, it’s been amazing to see people come together and give, even when they themselves are in need. We are very appreciative for the support of all our friends from around the world. So thank you for your words and prayers. We Are Alabama.
