My oldest dog Matty is my most gregarious, and the inspiration for this week’s theme. He loves to make friends, even with little kids who pull his ears. He never gets grumpy, and hasn’t yet met anyone he doesn’t instantly love. I meant to photograph him “smiling” for this week’s theme; it’s a great smile and I want to show off how awesome he is.
Alas! I forgot to take a photo of him before I left, and now I’m writing this from a cafe in Paris, far, far away from Matty and my other two dogs. I miss them all terribly (oh, and my husband, too.)
Thankfully the Parisians love their dogs as much as I do, and there have plenty of pups on the street to make friends with. (Bonus: the dogs don’t mind my terrible French!) And hey! I’m in Paris! That is for SURE something to be “so very happy” about! So here is this week’s “So Very Happy” from me.
Here are the ground rules of Capture It, just to refresh: I give the weekly prompt each Friday and you take a photo that captures the essence of it. It can be as literal or as figurative as you’d like, and you can snap a shot with your cellphone or bust out your fancy camera – whatever you want.
Photos have to be taken in that week and submitted to our Flickr pool here: Aiming Low’s Capture It Flickr group.
What’s making you so very happy this week? I can’t wait to see!
