Everyone is obsessed with something, right?

that octogon pen (see I’m still listening…) is that easier to hold your fingers in the right place?
ohhhh ahhhhhhhh coloured erasable pencils? oh my boys would love them… (still listening)
The octagon pen DOES actually feel nice in your hand, and I am in LOVE with the erasable colored pencils.
OMG. I <3 you. We're like the same person and NO ONE understands the deep satisfaction I get from finding a new awesome pen! Nor does anyone understand how I can be selective about what pen I use but it depends on the purpose! I always carry at least 4 different pens and a clicky pencil (because clicky pencils ARE fun). Always. I'm going to have to check out those Muji Pens and those clicky color pencils. My favorite pen at the moment is Uni-ball Micro Deluxe. It's a really fine point rollerball that doesn't smudge. As a left-hander, I hate smudgy pens! Also, I've never met anyone else who keeps a couple of "meh" pens on hand to give out when people ask for pens. Because people who forget to bring a pen to class? Not usually people who appreciate the value of a good pen. Everyone thinks I'm crazy too.
I think the “meh” pens is what really throws me over the edge. Of sanity.
I love Uniball Micro Deluxe! I use the 0.5 point, but they’re sometimes hard to find.
I felt bad calling them crap pens because there wasn’t anything wrong with them per se. They just didn’t meet my weird obsessive pen standards. Thus “meh” pens. I moved from California to Australia a few years ago and it never occurred to me that good pens might be harder to find. We have far less selection because I’m not in one of the major cities. It’s done terrible things to pen coveting!
I covet those colored mechanical pencils! covetcovetcovet!!!!

I love office supplies, especially pens and note pads (preferably sticky notes). I keep a set of erasable colored pencils in our kitchen to write on the calendar (the More Time Moms calendar, available at http://www.moretimemoms.com) – each person has a color, so I can put the appointments or reminders without having to write any names (saves space). And the calendar comes with stickers, so I can grab a “Mom’s Time” sticker, write “Happy hour” in purple pencil and my family knows they’d better not expect me to be home doing squat for them on that evening. Yes, I’ve just admitted to being in love with a calendar and stickers. I am somewhat pathetic.
I love vibrantly colored, non smudgy/bleedy pens for when I do my knitting. I am doing a lot of designing lately (read: I don’t want to follow directions, so I make it up as I go along) and I keep a notebook and pretty pen on my table so I can keep track of what I am doing in case I want to make the same thing again.

I use pencils when I’m knitting, but only to mark off rows and stuff. I’m impressed that you’re actually writing your own patterns!
I have an office supply company and this is one thing that we come across often is the desire to find the perfect pen mate! The pen makes a huge difference in a persons day, I was annoyed at first by the 20 calls and price/inventory checks for one customer to find the perfect pen, but in the end it can make or break your mood for the day. I am still in search of the perfect pal myself, but I am definitely checking out the website you recommended! Everyone could ALWAYS use erasable colored pencils! Thanks for the video blog and sharing your passion for pens. Enjoyed it!
