Capture It – The Real Me

I am so excited to meet all of you this week.

Lately I have felt so disconnected from my camera.  I feel like I am constantly in my van waiting on one child or the other.  I am sure that other moms, specifically mothers of teenagers, can relate to this.

While I may not be capturing much with my dSLR, I am still capturing our everyday life.

This is the real me, with my mini me, waiting in my van on my older daughter.

It is taken with Instagram, a free app for the iPhone.

While my husband may grumble that I am not taking ‘real’ pictures, sometimes they are the most ‘real’ of all.

So now it’s your turn.

Add the link to your blog post or your photo on Flickr.  Also don’t forget to tag your photo as Capture It & add it to our Flickr Pool.

Next week’s Theme Out your front door.

Love the photo; love even more you’re the mom of teens. Feels like most bloggers are still wrestling carseats instead of tampons and SATs. Starting my twitter/blog stalking right now!

I couldn’t agree more with this being a real picture. I find the ability to whip out our phones and take a picture so freeing. Real life is far from perfect. Why should our photographs be?
