I was excited to get to know the real you last week, many thanks to all of you who played along.
Getting to know the real you was quite exciting, hopefully you learned a bit about your self as well.
For this week’s challenge ‘Out Your Front Door’
Just outside my front door is a rose that waits until the last frost to bloom one last time. Giggles picked it out when my mother in law passed away a few years ago and proclaims it as ‘her rose.’ I had just thought the day before that I should have really trimmed that rose back, but am really glad that I didn’t because I wouldn’t have this.
Shot with my Canon XSi-bummed up the exposure slightly in Lightroom 2
ISO 400 f2.2 Shutter speed 1/320
This photo would never have been taken if I hadn’t stepped outside of my front door even though I was in intense pain from a fibromyalgia flare up.

I’m not sure if we talked about ‘rules’ of Capture It posts, but I think we should cover them now.
Capture It is a photo meme. While it doesn’t matter how you capture the photos for your post, point & shoot, dSLR, your cell phone; you still have to take photos for it. I encourage you to get out there and take new photos, because the best way to take better photos, is to well….take them. If you need to use old photos, that’s okay too, this is Aiming Low after all.
When using Simply Linked make sure that you link directly to your blog post or Flickr photo for the current week’s theme. It makes it so much easier for the other Capture It participants to see how you interpreted the challenge without having to hunt around for you post.
Remember you can post your photo or post any day of the week, but the linky tool will be up every Friday afternoon for you to link up.
Next week’s theme The Space In Between.

I am posting a picture from a few months ago, but plan to take a new picture over the weekend of the same hydrangea bush now that it’s sprouting Spring buds. I hope multiple entries are OK.
