I had a dream.
There was Olympic glory and fanfare
I was running with the torch!!
Waving! Representing!
(Obviously dreaming, the last time there was running there was also wheezing and flailing.)
I ran up to light the Olympic Torch. Celine Dion was singing about my national pride.
A Canadian singing about a Korean representing the U.S. wearing a t-shirt made in Brazil.
Anyway.
I held the fire to the Olympic Torch.
Cough.
I stopped.
COUGH.
I looked around
*COUGH*COUGH*
There they were. My kids. Standing on the pedestals, getting their medals. The flags lowering patriotically.
*COUGH*HACK*WHEEZE*SNOT*

My kids were medaling in Colds and Flus.
Which is right after Curling.

Dude, someone has been sick in my house since July. Freaking JULY! I thought we were on the mend and then hubs was sick 2 days ago (and he NEVER gets sick) and The Chicken was out yesterday.
