I love taking pictures and because I am nosey interested in your life, we are going to have a new monthly feature here at Aiming Low called Capture It.
Each month I will post a new theme and you guys can get to taking pictures and sharing them on our Flickr group. At the end of the month The Aiming Low Staff & I will go through the submissions and pick out some of our favorites to post here.
This month’s theme is Holidays. I want to see your favorite things around your house that screams the holiday of your choice because I realize that we all don’t celebrate Christmas and quite frankly I don’t think there are enough Menorah photos out there!
Here, I’ll start.
Although this photo isn’t from this year because I am clearly not one of those decorate early kind of gals. I am in the last minute ‘Crap is Christmas really next week’ crowd.
So have fun, get to capturing and share those wonderful holiday photos!

I Looooooove holiday photos. I can’t wait to see what everyone comes up with!

Too bad I already took down all the Chanukkah decorations (it ended almost a week ago). I tried to be better about taking photos this year though, so we’ll see if any of the shots I took turned out! Who says Chanukkah can’t make a brief comeback online? ;-)

Not a fan of the holidays so I’ve nothing to add this month. I’m glad you’re playing this game with photos. One of my most favorite things is to look at other folks’ photos.
Look forward to hearing what you think of the photos!

I had some awesome pic opportunities as the neighborhood kids did all my decorating and it was so cute. But my regular camera my hands were too shaky ( my fault) and so I had to use my cell phone for the first time, they are ok on low res and small but if you attempt to look at it in any visible size it looks like I put vasoline on the screen. any solution for my stupid shaky hands?

There are a couple of things that you can do that might help with the viewing of the photo. If I have a photo that is ‘soft’ sometimes I convert it to black and white and sharpen the heck out of it. It gives it a grainy, artsy look. Post it to our flickr group and I can give you some other pointers.
