My husband is a bit of a goofball. From the time we first started dating he has tried to put things on my head. Lots of things. Cups, plates, bowls, Tupperware. You name it.
“See? It’s a little hat for you,” he’ll say, as I weasel out from whatever it is he’s trying to put on my head. He knows I’m no fun and that I don’t like wearing things that aren’t hats as hats. And yet he still tries.
It didn’t take long after Nate was born for Graham to start putting things on his head.
A diaper was the first thing, naturally.

Later on came the toys.

Then our little party animal wore his pants on his head, thanks, of course, to his dear old dad.

Then one night I came into the living room to find that my child had been replaced by a baby astronaut.

He once wore an actual hat, but of course it wasn’t a cute, little baby hat. It was Graham’s dirty Budweiser ball cap. And he was inside of a shopping bag.

Tonight he became the Flying Nun.

I’m so glad we had a baby so Graham could have somebody who wouldn’t mind it when he puts things on his head. I can only imagine what might come next.

I am worried for myself because I think this is the most hysterical thing I have ever seen and now I can’t wait to have a baby so I can put it’s pants on it’s head.

Very cute!
Oh my hell, he is adorable.
Did you know there’s a board book (by Margaret Miller, I think) that is completely pictures of babies with things on their heads? True story. Here it is:

I could look at these pictures all day.
It could be your new thing on your blog….what’s on the baby’s head today? My busband likes to teach my son the most annoying sounds….I have no ever lovin idea why.

This made me so happy.
I am pretty sure that about ten years ago I had a haircut that looked EXACTLY like the flying nun picture.
And at some other point, I know I had a cut that was modeled after the foilhead.
I love it! I want more pictures!
